Anyone know how the widow notification compares to our Part P ie its similarities/differences?

(Hope Ban answers this one, he is pretty clued up on lots of stuff

Yes I have looked but I was thinking more of not going down the FENSA route but notifying to fit your own on your house or more so that I have already had it done by a non notifying person.
Not for me but from someone I know who is now selling their house and might encounter a problem.
I know the Part P implications for electrics but not the Part L equiv

The correct way to notify would be via a Building Notice submission to your LABC.

In that case you will need to apply for an Building Control Regularisation Certificate.
