worlds cheapest car from india

It will not be on sale in Europe as it will not pass European safety standards. I read somewhere its MPG was around the 50 mark, which I don't think is very impressive for such a small car.

not according to Tata industries, they state it is built to pass foreign standards.

It'll be a 1* NCAP then? But saying that it wont go fast enough to have a major crash, and I dont think it'd be allowed on motorways?

you could afford to buy a brand new one for spares.

i dont forsee many of them being useful on the second hand market, bet they will rust like a 70's car.

looking at the engine a bosch(drill or lawn mower?) I have to agree, but at that price, changing cars every couple of years is possible.

possibly but the people who buy these ultra cheap things dont think of the future. if i was a skinflint looking at one of these a reasonably priced 2nd hand polo, clio, saxo etc etc would be more sensible. some people cant see the good sense in buying a resonable car and looking after it properly.

That will not stop someone crashing into you at great speed. Think about rural roads, and some of the horrific head on crashes that occour.

Sureley a mountain of scrap cheap cars would be worse for the environment, than a less fuel economic cars which stays on the road for many years?
