The rise of the BNP.

So Swidders you advocate an 'open border' policy then? Where are you going to put them all?

I don't advocate it at all. What I am querying is who do you, or the BNP consider to be British and therefore eligible to remain?

I am also suggesting that a "send them home" is likely to have other repercussions that may, in fact, be more problematic that keeping the status quo.

As for being within the EU, I, like so many people, have no particular problems with in theory. Certainly it's original intentions as a means to prevent wars within the Europen continent are well founded. Again, like so many people, I think that current arrangements are not democratic, do not reflect the needs of the majority of the populations which it intends to serve, do seem to be self serving, and are fraudulent. I would advocate the de-construction of it in its current form, and if this means "leaving" it until such time as it has been properly reformulated, then so be it.

Why not just have work permits? Have them in when we need them and send them home when we don't? Make it work like a giant temp industry. No benefits - you won't be staying.

The two guys I work with are NOT British and will be eligible for a plane ticket home very shortly as they won't have a job .

This has drifted off the OP's BNP issue.

The simple facts are ... Either we want to be a part of something larger than this septic isle or we don't ... Either we believe that the World would be a better place with less borders or we don't ... Either we make this country a player on the World stage or we don't.

The BNP, whether they are racist or not, will not take this country to where it needs to be so they don't get my vote.

Mind you, neither do the current shower nor the tories

I'm not a BNP voter but can't vote for the big two either (voted Lib Dem last time). The economies that are doing best are not in Europe, such as Switzerland and Norway. We'll never be a big player as we don't export anything - we are serial consumers. Better out of Europe in my opinion.

Hiya Josef,

Good to see you posting again, still playing the guitar?

I like alot of what the BNP say as policys but would be reluctant to vote for them as I have friends of different ethnic groups.

UKIP is a more politcally correct bnp and I would vote for them.

I would vote UKIP but they've proven hopeless at becoming a major force. They should be doing really well but they are clueless. Can't vote for them for that reason.

Political correctness has nothing to do with the strength (or otherwise) of a political party ... If you agree with the policies of the BNP you should vote for them you silly tw@t.

If it makes you a racist and you fall out with all your ethnic mates ... Ho hum.

If everyone voted for them, they would be a major force.

Was that a typo?

Did you actually mean ...
If everyone voted for them, they would be a major farce?

Just wondering

Surprised anybody votes for the dying dog of UKIP, they were only set up to weaken the tory vote so the NUlabour tories could implement tory policies without too much hassle on the move to evermore european intergration.

The BNP are not the way forward.

But the paths forward the 3 parties offer us are the ugly mutation* that is the euro supersate

Sometimes a step backwards isn't such a bad thing. Still no way I'd vote BNP, but I'd understand the desperation of normally civilised people who'd do so..

*Evolution would bring us a closer more united world. But evolution is a gradual process, a pace people are happy with. The current euro superstate is a forced, artificially fastened process and as such is a mutation. Mutations are rejected, and they fail.
