Doctors not to say "obese"

BTW, did anyone watch the Big Body Squad ? A program about the ambulance and emergency services who have to deal with morbidly obese patients? .

No not seen that but I have watched an Australian film called "Feed" which is all about women being fed by a male "feeder"

Watched one or two of them the other week.
They've got their work cut out!
And yes, one of them, (probably all of them!), did have a winch for pulling the trolley in

When the news said last week they where going to educate them to stop them getting fat my thoughts where never mind sitting them in a classroom , get them up off there fat ar5es and take them on a cross country run . Kids need to do something to burn off there calorie intake

That is a recognized phenomenon. Take a man who likes really fat women and a woman who just loves to eat (it's nearly always that way round) and you have a recipe for disaster. :( :( :(

Indeed and the Australian film turned it into a recipe for a quite disturbing film. The plot centers around a man feeding women and their weight gain being shown on the internet with bets being taken as to when they will reach 1000LBS or die. I won't ruin the end for you as it gets worse

Sounds like a fun film, think I'm gonna watch it.

Why don't they call obese people healthy people , that should not offend.
Then we can send them home and tell them nothings wrong with them and save money when they die....

Well i'm glad to see Patricia has lost 2 stone 8 lbs.

Yeah right , do you honestly think that these companies actually succeed in making the chubby people thin?

They just take a wide angle picture of them now and then ask for a picture of them before they were chubby and then say - lets use THIS picture of you now as the before picture and we'll use this picture of you before you discovered McDonalds/lost your boyfriend/gave up trying as the after picture..

back on topic surely instead of obes the Doctors could just say , a bit Lardy.

:D

This topic was done to death thirty years ago by Not the Nine-o-Clock News. It went something like:

"It's time to squeeze out of the closet. We're not fat; and we're not gut buckets. We're stout. Stout and proud!"
