So, it's ok to have zoos for our entertainment, but as soon as they start managing them the animal huggers get on their high horses (so to speak).

Anyone who thinks zoos are animal friendly is deluded.There is a difference between managing animals, and killing them for the sake of it......anyone who thinks this was done for management is deluded!!

I'm sure zoo'z do provide a good service with endangered species. Many zoo's join in the breeding programs. These help to maintain the genetic diversity, so we can help animals in serious danger of extinction. The only other answer is to lose species at an alarming rate.![]()
