If it gives a sequence in the Bible, would you take that to be true, as it is in the Scriptures?
You're free to think that, but that won't change the truth.your free to think that, but that wont change the truth.Ahh, the scriptures,,, written by??,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, mere men. Like I said originally. God is a man made concept.what i said i can back up whith scripture.

Thanks. But surely it's in all of our interest for a god to exist. Please don't confuse this with "professional" religious people and the man made rules that accompany religions. I'm referring to an entirely benign deity the existance of which would explain a whole load of things and give a fundamental point to it all.
For me, therein lies the problem. We're so attuned to look at the fundamental concept through organised and historical "religions" that we're then inclined to throw out the baby with the bathwater due to the rather silly structures that mankind has invented with, as per usual , the greed, jealousy, oneupmanship and wars that they entail.Thanks. I would love there to be a God, and spent a lot of time trying to find out the truth, and return to that child like acceptance . Sadly though, a Christian deity does not explain much as there is no internal logic or consistency within the scripture upon which it's existence is based.
Sounds good but with the state of affairs in the world what difference would it make? Thanks. But surely it's in all of our interest for a god to exist.
I really don't see how or why unless you are advocating that this benign deity is just watching all the suffering and stupidity. Please don't confuse this with "professional" religious people and the man made rules that accompany religions.
