I visit the lake district frequently and even in areas of such beauty where people go to admire the landscape...they still think a plastic wrapper or bottle will improve it..That mentality completely escapes me..Cycle round the Netherlands..Germany etc it is no where near as bad..Something is wrong somewhere in this country.and it is not just lack of council litter pickers.

Doesn't effect me. I hire skips. Others should try it. I pop to the skip at Christmas time when the wheelie bin is full. Others take the pi$$.

Doesn't quite win the most ambiguous post of the year but is a contender. Have a carrot.

There are increasingly more 'man with van' outfits using said van for all kinds of mundane tasks with one of them being garden clearance etc. Often this cleared rubbish ends up in some back end, obscure pull-in and dumped. Probably at night. They are the same sort of people who will happily throw their drive-thru Maccies wrappers out of the van window too.

Ignorant, lazy, poorly educated criminals is what I would stereotype the fly tipper.
