That is highly questionable.

And a union couldn't bring bus drivers out on strike for a day on a "majority" that small.

Highly questionable ??? :) The majority who voted voted to leave the EU . Simples

Its called democracy ;) u may not like it , but it was a democratic vote .

Yes, the idea that the referendum was fair and democratic is highly questionable.

The majority who voted voted to leave the EU .
That majority would not have been large enough for strike action had it been such a ballot, rather than a referendum.

Simples:)

Its called democracy ;) u may not like it , but it was a democratic vote .
Let's see - which is of more significance to the economic well-being of the country, and thus more deserving of requirements for a significant majority to be in favour?

  • A bus driver strike.
  • Leaving the EU.

A Bus drivers strike o_O the rules on strike action were altered under Thatcher ;) to break the power of the trade unions ;)

This referendum is the most democratic vote that has ever occurred in the U.K.

If the result had gone the other way with the same numbers u would be happy . And call it a democratic vote  Hypocrasy ?? may be ;)

And what did Froggy Farage say, when he expected to lose?

who cares what Farage did or did not say ? Fact is the vote was democratic as was the vote on Scottish independence

If The scots voted for independence with the same numbers as the EU vote what woul;d u tell them Hmmmm speak up

Err, is it

Something he now lies about having not said?

who cares about farage

Listen up . The UK is a Parlimentary democracy they can stop this Brexit caper at any time , the majority of MP's are remainers .

Let them stand up and act like they have a pair ? if they consider its a matter of national importance then stop the process & accept the consequences

call a 2nd referendum I care not a jot tbh.

I wish they would.

Read my .sig

Wish all u like . They will not do it. Not directly any way . They will attempt to stifle the process by under handed tactics ;) use the un-elected Lords ;)

ect ect

The very same people will then be able to keep the illusion of there democratic credentials intact  and continue to pontificate to the rest of the world about democracy

That's his and his tunneled vision mates answer to most things I say.

I was reasonably well traveled in the day. What I was good at was opening my eyes and speaking to people. Enjoying their cultures seeing how they go about things ...... taking an interest
