On bringing back the death penalty ? For certain crimes ?

The recent cases in Northmptonshire ?
A 1 year old and a 2 year old child killed by a father and step father ?

That bloke in Scotland who kidnapped
Raped and murdered that 6 year old girl

Execute them ??? Or ?

Perhaps a people's vote ?

OkAy but the best of 3, yes? I don't think anyone can seriously defend these animals but they will try.

Chain gangs with tough RSM's as the overseers and then solitary confinement when back in their cells.
Taking their life won't bring the dead person back and killing them is the easy way out for them.

I am not supporting these child killers, but the News Media likes to pick out the most newsworthy of cases, making it seem they are isolated cases

on average 5 Children per month are killed by their parents /family

What would you want if it was your 6 year old daughter who was kidnapped tortured raped and murdered ????

I'd want the b*stard that did it to suffer for the rest of it's life - the longer the better. In an ideal world, it would share a cell with a huge hairy-assed convict who would be capable of inflicting the level of fear and pain the was inflicted on the child - but on a daily basis for a very very very long time.

Just a personal opinion (and yes I have a daughter!)

Death penalty is an easy way out for these scum.

Solitary confinement like the USA supermax prisons, totally alone in your concrete cell, no communication of any kind, lights on 24/7, that's real punishment.

I have just quoted the statistics, The Death Penalty is unlikely to make any difference, It never did in years gone bye

You could argue the threat of being locked up for life isn't a deterrent and is unlikely to make a difference.

Afaik the 1 year old in Northamptonshire was repeatedly punched in the stomach and died in hospital from internal bleeding / injury's

The abolition of the death penalty (and the reduction in severity of punishments for all crimes) is one* of the major factors in the decline of this country

Oh I agree, those states in America with the death penalty have zero violent crime.

It proves how well it works :ROFLMAO:

I'm not sure that the death penalty or very long gaol sentences act as a deterrent but they sure as hell reduce the opportunity for reoffending
