Some one wants to. Commit suicide good luck to em I say

I would like to believe that under certain circumstance I would be able to take my own life?

I would never do it all. The time my mother is alive to do so would be a selfish and cruel
Makes no logical sense or grammatic sense."""good luck? """ To people in so much distress in life, the only way out they see is suicide,,,and all you can think is ""good luck""" give your freekin brain cell a shake man.

Years ago I built a conservatory for a couple in Tunbridge Wells.

It was all finished apart from a few minor bits which we were waiting on the client to decorate
I had a call from the wife "please can you come and decorate for me, my husband cant do it, he is dead now"

The husband was a veteran of the 1st Gulf war and the job was being done just as the 2nd war was starting. He had left home to go to work and was found hanging from a tree.
My understanding was that it was caused by PTSD that had been bottled up.
His daughter gave birth to his granddaughter 10 days later.

Suicide is the result of untreated stress or mental illness.

we all have a range of emotions from sad to happy, high levels of stress can push us outside of the safe range. It can happen to anybody

Spot on."there but for the grace of god go I.".

You tell people that you weren't there and yet still come up with reasons out of thin air as to why she did what she did.
No, I didn’t give that as the reason. I offered it up as a possible reason so stop misquoting me.
I am inclined to think that she was plain old nuts.
Oh, so okay for you to have an opinion I see. Just what makes people "plain old nuts"? Born like it or circumstances/mental illness have made them like it? Either way, it’s not their fault, is it?

What isn't their fault? The fact that they thump someone? You really are keen on giving the green flag for all abusers aren't ya? That and not wanting to prosecute those who do it in case they are mentally fragile and may top themselves. I seriously don't think you stop to think before you talk, either that that you just like to disagree with reason for the kicks.

There is not a single excuse in the world that makes domestic abuse ok. There may be a few reasons why this happens but at the end of the day people MAKE A CHOICE to beat their partner, of course it is their fault. Every adult knows this is wrong - the cries of the person being beaten is enough to tell them that alone.

Not everyone responds to treatment and not everyone wants to live in this world. I personally know someone who on paper had it all, nice girlfriend, nice home, good job and a close fun family. Nothing bad had really happened to him while growing up or otherwise. He was receiving treatment, had done for a few years, on medication though not actually depressed, had all the support he could want from his family but he just hated the way people were in this world. He took to heart people's cruelty, rudeness, everything and he ended it aged 33.

FFS. What is it that you are just not getting? I AM NOT EXCUSING THIS BEHAVIOUR. I am offering a possible reason for it. There’s a big ****ing difference.

Born like it or circumstances/mental illness have made them like it? Either way, it’s not their fault, is it?
FFS, perhaps you should phase your words better as the above sounds like an excuse.

So, if they are born like it or circumstances make them like it it’s their fault? Okay, I’ll leave it at that - this is like arguing with the wife - it’s just going round in circles!

Yes, because you'd have to live under a rock to not know it's unacceptable. These are ADULTS. Why do you think also that people beat their loved ones and scare/beg them not to tell others that they've done such a thing? They know as an ADULT that it's unacceptable. As an ADULT they are responsible for their actions, no matter their upbringing.

Tell me, some people who follow the Islamic faith seem to think it's ok to oppress women and beat them. Or what about honour beatings/killings? You now telling me that because of the circumstances they were born into (their faith) that it's acceptable, that it's not their fault?

Considering your dislike of foreigners, I think I know the answer...

.....These are ADULTS..…. As an ADULT they are responsible for their actions, no matter their upbringing.

o_O If that's what you really think despite evidence and legal precedents to the contrary, then you just go right ahead and carry on believing it. Pointless me or anyone giving you any further examples as you have clearly made your mind up and you just don't want to hear. I wouldn't mention that view if you're ever chosen for jury service though.

I’d be really interested to hear your views on this ADULT who was convicted of murder but later released due to her mental state. Remember, ADULT who, according to you, were responsible for their actions. Discuss!

Apparently (not sure if it's really true) my Grandfather was one of 12, he was the only one of them, that either didnt drink themselves to death or commit suicide. Scary!
