Opinion On Legality of Lockdown

Are you a bit of an evangelist?
LOL :LOL::LOL::LOL:
No, possibly the opposite.

Not at all...bit of a risk taker.
WOW!
And I thought some crazy guys driving motorbikes at 200mph were risk takers.
Got to rethink my standards

Hmmm...not convinced of that.

I'm not trying to convince anyone.
As said, I am not a preacher, evangelist, or anything similar.

I feel the distinct impression god is cropping up in your argument soon...Please prove me wrong.

Nothing to do with God.

Blimey...Thought I was deep...Shallow as a puddle compaired to you.

Thanks! (y)

LMAO.....I had no choice in THAT.

True.
Then you decided to waste your time trying to avoid death.
Shame!

They had the lord high ponce of the supreme court on the box today. I'll considered views on lock down. Not enough die to justify it. When they do there are always serious underlying conditions that would have killed them soon anyway. :) He sees himself as being safe at 71 but is isolating. He would go to the pub etc except that the media might notice.

No mention that lots of 70+ are isolating so will have avoided catching it and without treatment up 1m+ may die. He'll be ok as I doubt if he uses the NHS.

No consideration of the time it takes some to fully recover and the physio needed for that.

The Nightingales are ICU's so all ok. Trouble is they aren't. Not all called Nightingales now either.

He used to be an advisor to Keith Joseph - one of the most twisted Tories there has ever been. Politics in judges. Not that unusual. A problem with the establishment in general.

Makes me wonder if some one is challenging the lock down in the supreme court. I'd have thought having expressed his views on TV he couldn't take part in it.

Whoops - he retired from the supreme court in 2018

It's an awkward one. It sounds like she was worried about social distancing.

Did she complain that it was sexual assault?
Or was it the police that took that view?

Derbyshire plod seem to need a new social media and PR team. Maybe some change of leadership. Too many screwups coming from this force. They are rapidly becoming a laughing stock.

The elements of the offence of sexual assault are:
  • A person (A) intentionally touches another person (B)
  • the touching is sexual
  • (B) does not consent to the touching, and
  • (A) does not reasonably believe that (B) consents.

Depends how you assess risk....Sitting on the sofa half of ones life is seriously risky but people do not consider that..200mph on motorbike is probably not that risky.

Is it acceptable to make these "mistakes"?
.
Yes...we all make mistakes. Why put mistakes in speech marks as if you seem to think they are not genuine mistakes...Being a copper and dealing with assholes everyday is a crap job..They have all my sympathy...I could not do it for a day.. I would tazer most of the argumentative clever sht azzhole winkers .

As I said before, you must know what certain elements of society are like before you join the police.

If you don't like that sort of job, don't be a police officer.

Simple.

As for
Enforce the law..not make it dude.
That is my argument. That, whether they like the laws or not, their job is to uphold those laws and only those laws. You can't go making stuff up just because you don't think a member of public should be doing something.

Not true..Some people go out of their way to be as annoying as poss to the police...Nothing in civvy st prepares you for that. And society is changing for the worse ..Who the hell becomes a paramedic for example expecting to be assaulted....That is a recent caper..
