There has never been a a more relevant time to be critical of the UK. The RWR haters would be more at home being the USA's 51st state rather than being affable towards our nearest neighbours. Trump for ya.

When they have to communicate with the natives in their adopted homes, they do so in the time-honoured tradition of Little Englanders all round the world. THEY..........SPEAK.........VERY..........SLOWLY........AND........VERY.......LOUDLY.......IN..........................................................ENGLISH.

Most of the natives speak English.

They use it to communicate with all foreigners as those foreigners speak English as well.
