A few weeks later, she was apologised to, as her cancer had become untreatable. She died soon afterwards.
I doubt she was the only one.

If this lockdown has taught us nothing else, it is that the UK is awash with professors

Around 1,000 a day dead at peak and the only reason it peaked was because we restricted the potential transmission, or lockdown. It's not that hard to run those numbers.
