I'm keeping the £10K I got, just to annoy you-know-who. 
I did wonder if they have , or have not.
Limited hours, limited occupancy, greater inconvenience = fewer impulse buying (typically, greater profit margin items).......

Supermarkets have upped their deliveries, click and collect and benefitted with panic buying as well as buying more because stuck at home. Their profits in the first few weeks of the pandemic soared and I think continue to do so.
They've also put up their prices and cut a lot of offers so people didn't buy more than they needed.
On the flip side, they've created quite a few new jobs, helping out those in who have lost theirs.

didn't furlough anyone, not even the work placement student.
Anyone not furloughed is not furloughed for one reason - there’s no need to as they have no disruption to their business. You don't hear of NHS staff being furloughed for example. Furlough is for businesses that have been affected financially by coronavirus. Ellal doesn’t seem to understand that. He thinks that if the business owner has money in savings, they shouldn’t be taking furlough money until it’s all gone. Idiot.
