a great brexit benefit....a private German supermarket expands in UK

It's just a plain ole benefit Notch. Aldi is a success story for the UK, as much as it is for Germany. UK food producers are going to need all the help they can get.

how is it a benefit Old Bean?

Are you trying to pretent Aldi wouldnt have expanded without brexit happened....good luck with proving that

interesting you say UK food producers are going to need all the help they can get....because of brexit damage.

foreign direct investment down 19% -already happened
£1 trillion assets moved from UK to EU -already happened
All based on pure speculation, such as what you excell in.

And really without any context, as billions are shifted daily. And that's why you don't post the comparative amounts moved inwards, just the biased view as always.

Good news from Aldi:

Aldi pledges extra £3.5billion a year on UK-grown food and drink in Brexit boost for British farmers | Daily Mail Online

Even better news would be if they decided to stop selling Chinese tat; along with Home Bargains, B&M etc.
its probably more negative for the shopper :D
as in" we are loosing our cheap source off eu foods so we now have to pay 3.5 in the uk rather than the 2.8 from the eu"
we need to know all the facts to form a correct answer :D
