What about the empty wards then u muppet, hospitals are at breaking point but nightingales are empty or have loads of space. No worries,as your mate said nobody can become ill and need hospital treatment now as nhs staff will not treat them. I feel a few lawsuits coming on towards the nhs

Many hospitals are facing staff shortages, due to illness and isolating.

Nightingales do not have the necessary staff to open, the Army may yet be called in.

No because they are all so busy making dancing and music videos for social media. Staff shortages hey, perhaps they could call them to the front line to help.or at least they could help deliver the vaccine that on numerous occasions yesterday was admitted to not stop the virus.

Would you agree that the degree of emergency depends on the prevailing conditions?
I would agree that the degree of emergency would best be diagnosed by a professional , hence why if you are admitted to A&E wether via an ambulance or your advised to attend after calling 999. An a & e department is the normal functioning part of a hospital.

The johnson government reminds me of the trump government.

Think I have my point,if there are empty wards in a hospital regardless of what type of ward it is then that empty ward would be used to relieve the so called packed wards. A packed hospital at bursting point doesn’t have any empty wards.

That might be true, if there happened to be an army of spare nurses, doctors, cleaners, technicians and specialists standing around with nothing to do who could be redeployed into the spare wards.

Do you think this is the case?

Bear in mind:

workloads in Covid wards are very high

some staff are sick, isolating, or dead

some staff have been redeployed into vaccination teams

many non-UK staff have left the country in the past few years, and especially since 1/1/21

As previously said they are not standing around they are dancing around in videos. The number of nurses/doctors is absolutely irrelevant.
The fact of the matter is the media have been stating the hospitals are at bursting point ,so much so they can’t fit any patients in.
Regardless of wether there is 100 or 1000 nurses/doctors. The hospitals are not full. Staff do not have to be present per patient 24hours a day. If there are supposedly 250 Covid patients in a hospital and the Covid wards are full then you would put them in an empty ward,or spend millions building nightingale hospitals to lay empty. I reiterate THE NUMBER OF NURSES/DOCTORS is irrelevant.
The fact of the matter is that the hospitals are not full and never have been.
