What have you been doing today?

Serviced and MOT'd a Kawasaki Versys 1000 this morning, owner hadn't realised his front tyre was a bit close..

If it wasn't due MOT I dread to think how it would have ended up for him.

I hope you had a few words with him, that's disgraceful.

I was down my local tyre shop once and they were fitting a tyre on a motorcycle rim for a customer. The old tyre was worn out just like the one above on one side only. Of it was a car, I’d have said the tracking was way out. I asked the owner how it had got worn like that and he smiled at me and said "Roundabouts"!

Fitted two bottom ball joints to a 13 plate Qashqai......splined and circlipped in. Around £15 each for Febi bits.
Tried to flog me Firstline parts - better off using Plasticene so no, thanks.
Waving round in the breeze, they were but the inner wishbone bobbins were fine.
John :)

Not many miles before it would have gone bang imho!.

Motorcycles do rub the right side off (road camber and roundabouts) but nowhere near that bad.

It road fine with a new tyre, wheel alignment was bang on, 12,000 miles on original tyre so it just wore out.

Just shocking really, once a month and a quick walk around would have caught that long ago.

Had this,
