I wish it was possible for posters like "Jonbey" to see this stuff. It may open at least one eye slightly for them.
I don't dispute that, but it is still an odd situation. If they had committed fraud, for example, would we break our own laws and make a criminal stateless? She was born in England, which makes her British. Under our own laws, we cannot make a person stateless, but that is exactly what we have done.
From what I read, I agree, she sounds awful. But that does not change the fact that she was a British child when she married a foreigner (a Dutch man that converted to Islam - the Netherlands have said they do not recognise the marriage she was underage) and then got pregnant. She still seems to believe in the ISIS cause, so you would not want her running about the place, but should we make her stateless, and make no attempt to rehabilitate?
I am not saying I agree with her ideology or what she has done, but we have laws and rules, which is what makes us a civilised society.
