You haven't said what your bit is.... what good do you do for your country?
We don't get litter round here. So if I went litter picking, I'd invariably come back empty handed.
Come to think of it, even the McDs in France don't get a litter problem , as far as I can see.

I seem to remember France is a cleaner country than the UK... Still nothing is perfect they still have you.....:ROFLMAO::!:

I never said it was the fault of McDonald's I just said they need to do more.. or ban chaves from eating their favourite grub
There's a McD's in Solihull, situated not far from the "affluent" areas and the new build/ new money estates.

If you are referring to chavs in the truest meaning (council house and violent) then yes it's relatively chav-free. But what it's not free of are the obnoxious, self righteous, selfish, self important, pretentious, stuck up, well-off dickheads and dickettes from said areas, and their equally out of control brats (Oliver and Olivia normally) doing what ever they please, and they and their parents either making a mess inside or throwing their rubbish out of the BMW or SUV in the carpark.

Then McDonald's need to take precautions to prevent this from happening.

Firstly it's not feasible and secondly any possibility that the person accused of throwing litter didn't actually do it means you'll be fining zero people ergo it's a pointless exercise.

I said we don't get litter round here. There's a McD about 10 kilometres away, and there's no litter problem there either.

The headline reads a third, which is reduced to 25%, which refers to organic matter such as fruit pips, stones or cigarette butts.
The poll was carried out for the motorways company. Can you guess why? Can you spot the Dangee style selective criteria of the poll?
The truer figure is 14% of French people have thrown litter out their car windows at some point in their lives on the motorway, which is nothing to be proud of.
I guess French people are more honest. But I very rarely see any litter on the motorways either.

Let's say out of ten...... find the same number plate on wrappers on 10 separate days could be inconclusive.....

But then he could say he's been set up... I suppose

Exactly, anything that gives plausible deniability renders the whole thing void. I'd like very much to deal with the idiots doing it but it has be realistic.

You can go to the council with a crisp packet, a photo of someone dropping the crisp packet and a signed conversion by the person dropping the crisp packet, and do you think for one moment that they will prosecute?

No one is actually bothered with all the little laws due to the hoops, paperwork and costs and actual chance of success.

Take shoplifting for instance another chav pastime. Shops actually have a budget for losses, and shop owners and the Police just can't be bothered. There is no deterrent.

Fella I spoke to this morning wanted to shoot them....... that's unrealistic, prosecuting repeat offenders isn't..

You know what I mean. Setting up all of the systems to prosecute and the associated costs for everyone to get off by saying "someone must have taken it back out of the bin" just doesn't make sense, nor is it realistic to think that any issued ticket would result in a successful prosecution or outcome.

The litter patrols round Manchester and Stockport are like vultures.

If you drop something, even accidentally, they rush up to you demanding your details to issue a FP.

They have even been known to try and issue a ticket for someone flicking the ash off their ciggie.

They are a private company employed by the Councils and are supposed to give you an opportunity to pick up your litter before issuing a ticket.
You can guess why they don't.
Target-related bonus, what target-related bonus?
