Rwanda

First hand experience is cognitive bias
Like your first hand experience of empty shelves in supermarkets due to Brexit? Oh no, you haven’t experienced it but you have heard about it so despite what you see with your own eyes, you trust the stories you read that you want to believe.

Britain isn't the only country deporting illegal immigants to Rwanda

Britain isn’t deporting any to Rwanda, neither is any other country.

Denmark has an agreement but hasn’t sent any

Israel never had a formal arrangement and many who arrived there got deported to Uganda

Poor Mottie is still smarting from losing that argument.

There are rolling shortages in Motties supermarket, but he won’t admit the truth.

No argument at all. You were given the personal opportunity to back up your anti-Brexit claim. You refused so your post is totally baseless. You think that by constantly saying I lost 'that argument' that you refused to take part in will make it true. Pathetic and desperate.

Mottie admits he can’t provide any proof his supermarket has had no shortages.

I have posted plenty of evidence that shows brexit has led to supply chain issues, reduced choice and increased shortages of goods, so it’s obvious that affects all supermarkets.

poor Mottie wants to continue losing the same argument :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Actually, you mean 'I have posted plenty of other peoples evidence that Brexit has led to supply chain issues but am unable to post any of my own'?

In any case, I like the way you’ve subtly changed tack from:
There are more and more empty shelves in the supermarkets
to:
supply chain issues
We can all see what you are doing there.

Yes, there was no formal arrangement but numbers of failed asylum seekers were sent to Rwanda.

Anyway the point i was making was that sending illegals to places like Rwanda is no guarantee that they won't return to Europe.
If you read my previous post, you will see i pointed out that numbers of deported asylum seekers who had been sent to Africa have been turning up in Europe.

There are no supply-chain problems.

It's just that everything has been sent to Rwanda.

One thing for sure brexit didn't not help in relationship to people that may get sent to Rwanda. Legal arrivals via passport control should be fairly easy to handle. All of us having photo ID cards would make that easier. Blair increased deportation targets and would guess they have been increased even more since. Looks like for various reasons they are hard to meet. Detained people are easier to deal with but have to be housed. There has been talk of tracking bracelets recently then they can be let loose. The biggest problem all round is where people are. That is why ID cards might help - make them part of life. Job, services, housing etc what ever.

LOL I'm wondering if this is why introducing ID cards was mentioned in the past. The very idea didn't go down well.

Times have changed, immigration, legal and illegal is a fact of life.
America's borders are under pressure as are European borders.
With decolonisation, a lot of former colonies have fallen into conflict and corruption, the inhabitants of these failed states want something better, so its natural that they will be drawn to what they see as the centres of power and wealth.
Unlike in the past, even in the poorest parts of the planet, people have access to the Internet and television and they can see how the other half live, so they decide that they too would like to be part of this other world.

Israel just grabs illegals, puts them in a plane and ships them back to their country asap. No one gets to find out and it happens very smoothly.

39 people smugglers have been arrested across Europe. 2 in the UK. Large stock of boats and life jackets found. Those kept in Germany and sent to France a couple a time.
