I had a direct debit set up for 25 years 10 quid a month so direct payments so £3k contributions in that period, as a sailing club member for 20 years I was involved in various annual fundraisers.
I said on here I was cancelling my direct debit because I wasn't prepared to contribute toward a taxi service for illegal immigrants and having done so posted a copy of the reply from the RNLI.

Now if you feel strongly about it, make the shortfall up yourself, you help fund them. If you don't. then your a ******* hypocrite.
