I'm on about the décor gravel. Six tonne will be too much for that border.8 tonn skip coming next week so we can fill the skip with the old drive block paving plus the spoil from the digging today. we had previously dug 1 to 2 tons out after the trees were uprooted

I would put my life on the line for them, they would do the same for me. Not one of them wanted paying and would not accept a penny other than beers all day. I cannot thank them enoughAre they mates from the army days?
You can always rely on someone who's been in the forces from my experience.
A tonne should cover an area 4.8m x 2.4m at say 50mm deep. You can take a bit off that (area covered) because loose direct loads versus bagged tends to come out less in the bags 850 kg's ish as opposed to a full tonnereally? what do you think. order 3 ton and see or 2 ton first?

well I was thinking ton bags, then the hiab could place it in the air above the area then slitt the bottom of the bags and rake them outA tonne should cover an area 4.8m x 2.4m at say 50mm deep.
