Todays Job

When I was driving home from work I heard highway man call into the radio to do the quiz

Tried eating my pot noodle cold. Not the greatest of ideas. I ate it though.

Hope you added some water, at least.

Don't know if they put the same chemicals in them as they used to. In early 80s I went hiking and camping with school in Black Mountains. First night was spent in a dorm at the centre which organised the treks. I had my first and poss last Pot Noodle. It was beef and tomato flavour. Don't know what they put in the thing, but may well have been pure fart powder. Never produced so much gas in my life - too much to be humanly possible really. Regular and very audible releases of this gas carried on into the small hours, keeping others in the dorm awake. I was not popular that night.:oops::oops:

Never touched them since!

Been chopping and chasing my media centre electrics and comms today. Installed fibre data comms and coax for an aerial, two hdmi ports, one rJ45 port, two double sockets and some radio equipment, short wave and VHF with antenna in the garden. What a nightmare, cant find my plaster mixing paddle anywhere so having to leave it unplastered.

I'd add another RJ45.

Whack a few tube sockets in pop in some EL34s, 6v on the filaments and voila stunning effect when the lights are low.......I'll get mi coat.
EL34's? Blimey. that takes me back a few decades. Power amplifier pentodes in push-pull circuitry for my axe amp.
What's that? Turn it down? Sod the neighbours .. new riff coming up ;)
