The Genocide hating thread

During the Camp David summit, an agreement was reached, one that recognise Jerusalem as the 1948 UN Resolution.
But at the last minute Barak insisted on total control of Jerusalem, including the Sacred Mount, which of course is sacred to Muslims throughout the Middle East.
So Arafat, on refusing that change to the previously agreed arrangement, had the whole weight of the Muslim world to consider, not just the Palestinian - Israeli conflict. So obviously it was a step too far for Arafat.

In addition, all press reports were from an Israeli perspective, which the Americans, and the rest of the western world, accepted.
The PLO were a proscribed organisation so had little access to media outlets.

Also, Arafat had already agreed to land swaps that seriously restricted Palestinians the right to freedom of association.

WTF do you keep banging on about Camp David when I'm talking about Trumps 20 point plan from the beginning of the week.

Its linked, its a good example of how the initial terms displayed to the whole world was watered down and changed at last moment by isreal to the detriment of the other side.

What terms were changed in Trumps 20 point plan remains my question.

Take section 17 of the plan, for instance. It states that even if Hamas rejects or delays the agreement, Israel will hand over “terror-free” areas to an international force. How exactly is that supposed to happen? How will such a force actually operate in a war zone? There are no answers to those questions.

Maybe F.boy has one?

So you believe that they are justified to holding hostages.
I'm sorry but my opinion holds little sway in neither Hamas's. nor Israel's decisions.
But I can see where they are coming from, why would they give up their last remaining bargaining chip, until Israel agrees to a permanent ceasefire, and a withdrawal of troops?
Not to mention, the return to the UN resolution for Jerusalem, and the release of all the Palestinian hostages held by Israel (or charge them with a specific offence, and put them on trial)

The only answer I have is this. For two years most of us have supported an end to the violence. Trumps 20 point plan is a real and genuine opportunity for peace. Anyone who doesn't support the plan, whether that be Hamas or posters on this forum, is not and never will be interested in peace.

It's the most recent example of Israel changing the terms at the last minute to scupper the deal.

Why would Hamas surrender the domination by one occupying force for another occupying force?

It was a plan to cede to all of Israel's demands.
Neither any Arab nor Palestinian's had any input.
But even then, Netanyahu changed it for even more favourable terms for Israel.
He knew what he was doing, same as all Israeli leaders before him, make the agreement so unpalatable to Palestinians that they have no option but to reject it.
Then Israel points the finger (just like you) at Palestinians for rejecting totally unacceptable terms.
Same playbook every time.

No one has pointed out changes.
You just haven't read them. There's a difference.
I know you've seen this one because you have referred to it.*
But just in case:

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan & Qatar angered by Netanyahu’s changes to Trump’s Gaza plan

I've only heard of these changes from yourself and your link to 'The Middle East Monitor', shame you haven't got time to back up your nonsense.

Looks like Hamas are going to reject the deal and it's nothing to do with your imaginary changes.
