I have to completely disagree with you on this.

It is not "the key point", any more than you're going to die anyway, so may as well smoke, drink and slob around and never seek medical attention for anything that doesn't feel right.

It is also not "the key point", as the people who are currently selling us the non-renewables are making money by the shipload. And have been doing so for a century or more.

And the world was functioning and workers could afford a piece of artisan bread a week and a roof over their head.
Then the climate change brigade saw an opportunity to take that piece of bread away from workers and to do so they recruited the votes of the social parasites in Great numbers.

Climate change and visible man's pollution are 2 different things.
For 30 years I've been campaigning against single use plastic; plastic doesn't affect climate, if it does it's in such small part that's irrelevant.
Climate change is a new scary thoughts that we need to be afraid of so we can pay more taxes.
In the meantime we don't deal with the easily fixable plastic problem.
BTW, WTF do they do with our taxes???

People buy electric cars to save the world and were encouraged to do so by the carrot of zero road tax --- they now have to pay the same as everyone else --- only they dont because they now also have to to pay a luxury car tax of over £600. And to top it it all off from jan they will have to pay like everyone else to drive into London -- feel scammed yet
