Climate Change

I have to say, even for aveatry, that is one of the dumbest attempts at discrediting climate change, I have ever seen.
I have never attempted to discredit climate change - I dont know how many times I need to tell you - climate change is real and I have never had a problem with that statement.
I will watch you squirm and spin when labour announce a u turn on 2030 EV.

Just to clarify this once again: warmer climate has always been good for the planet.
Maybe not for humans, but surely all the rest will benefit from hotter climate (if one day it eventually happened)

Call me self centered but I prefer the planet to be habitable for humans and view making the planet less habitable for humans to be a bad thing.

And as even aveatry agrees, the planet is warming rapidly, only an idiot would disagree with that.

But its not such a bad thing for humans either.
Throughout man's history warmer times led to great prosperity and innovation, the medieval warm period allowed for longer growing seasons agricultural surpluses and population growth which in turn supported cultural achievements like the building of Gothic cathedrals and the rise of universities, trade expanded cities flourished and societies had the resources to invest in art philosophy and technology.
In contrast colder periods were often disastrous the little ice age brought shorter growing seasons failed harvests and famine, europe was struck by the great famine of 1315 during which millions starved due to relentless cold societal unrest grew economies shrank and in many regions innovation stalled cold harsh climates didn't just make life harder they made Civilization more fragile. Be careful what you wish for.

Basically, the climate is doing, what the climate has always done throughout history - changed. Nowt much we do, will prevent it, learn to accept it.

No. Modelling shows the little ice age was caused by man due to massive changes to vegetation and land use.

This isn't natural change, this is man made.
