I am sure if on of the "hot" artists sent a pair of soiled underpants to the Tate I would cause a sensation, if I did it they would probably call it fly-tipping!

Look at any of the recent Turner prize winners and it will leave you with your head scratching and wondering where is the 'art'.
Most ordinary folks will view art with a certain amount cynicism and resentment, and rightly so.
I was involved with (Turner prize winner) Rachel Whitereads' 'House' way back when, and found it all a bit bewildering. Good fun though especially for a young builder working in London.
Me, I'm a Banksy fan. He can deface my garden wall anytime.

the all time Q, what is art ? If someone wants to show a pit of a bed as art, what's the prob ?. If some burk wants to buy it , what's the prob ?
People who can't afford art believe that those people who can afford art should be giving their money to the people who can't afford art rather than spend it on something as frivolous as art.

We used sprayed on screed along with mesh and a release agent sprayed to the walls.
My job was to 'tie' all the floor joists together to prevent them tipping once the masonry was removed. We also gave the concrete sprayers a chuck too.
The party after was awesome. Annie Lennox and Malcolm Mc Claren were honoured to meet me even though I was mullered on the free ale. I ended up encouraging an old Scottish thespian to dance between crossed swords. Hilarious.

You've got some serious issues boyo.
If rich folk want to spend their hard earned money on expensive art rather than waste it on benefits scroungers, so be it.
