Mental well-being of athletes.

Cant help feeling she felt she would lose this time round so took the easy way out.
You could have a point - I've never seen anyone win and then take a break for their mental well-being, have you?

I honestly didnt think that you could ever get more disgusting.

Seems I was wrong.

Shame on you.

Utter, utter shame and obloquy for your vile, repulsive, primitive, vicious cruelty towards people who have mental health problems. You are despicable.

bit harsh in it

mind you one has to question the mental well being of that female New Zealand weight lifter
And the mental well being of those who picked her for the event

And the mental well being of those daft enough to think he's a woman.

The easy way out is not achieving what she has done or any other sportsman at the pinnacle of their careers.

What sporting accomplishment have you done?

It doesn't have to be just elite sport. Anyone who willingly walks towards danger........emergency services / armed forces for example

Yes I saw hard as nails Ben Stokes taking time out recently - the same Ben stokes that took on the Aussies almost single handed and beat them - the same Ben Stokes that took the game to New Zealand and showed great courage - the same Ben Stokes who put his career on the line to protect a gay couple from a bully.

When the going gets tough eh. Clueless.

I wonder why the RWR are getting hot and bothered now.

Marcus Trescothick (bloody fine batsmen) career was ended due to mental health issues. What aboout recently - Glen Maxwell the Aussie cricketer who recently took time out due to mental healh issues. Then there was England Rugby Joe Marler - I am sure the RWR on here will call him a puff used to cry on his way to training.

So RWR turn a blind eye to Maxwell, Marler, Trescothick but are raging over Biles, Asher-Smith and Osaka..

What about the 66 year old lady down the road from here

yep the 66 year old nobody who’s drug addict daughter abandoned her 4 year old ( at the time) child with social services

the 66 year old nobody took the child in legally

she’s now terminally ill

what about her mental well being

Transam gives not a stuff about some millionaire sports persons mental well being

clear off into obscurity for all I care

What about the mental well being of that little 6 year old that was thrown off a roof by some fruit cake

society seems to care more about this fruit cakes well being than the victim

What about the mental well being of the parents of the two girls murdered and raped by that pitchfork bloke

who is now on walk about

Maybe millionaire sports stars are able to make the greater population realise that mental health is a serious and widespread problem.
Perhaps naive transam could give a jot about that. It certainly makes thick plumbers take notice
Dumb RWR.

Cant help feeling she felt she would lose this time round so took the easy way out. How do you do all that work, sweat blood and tears and then bottle it?
I guess others will disagree and say how brave she is being by “coming out” but she could have done it a year ago and saved sponsors etc a shed load of money.
Your feeling on this is wrong.
She demonstrated in a safer environment that she lost something. She was unable to land safely, and is a known condition.

An interesting article on it here:

But she’s apparently okay now as going to compete in an individual event this week. (n)
