The case was thrown out. The same person/company attempted another libel case against another person. That person was able to contact/ speak to the person on this forum for advice / guidance.

The person in question posts in these forums on a regular basis. ;)

The reason the sex life or indiscretions of MPs and ministers is important is that they can then be blackmailed or coerced to do something for fear that it will become public.

The problem is their private lives spill into their public lives.

For example no one cares if Woody likes Wood or if he's a Wood chomper.

Black propaganda aimed at the nazis was a term devised in WW2 Sefton Delmer was its architect .......the genius behind it.
Basically it made propaganda look like it came from within germany itself from dissatisfied Nazis and not the British enemy.

So..........

How likely is this to have come from within as opposed to without
I'm not saying there isn't a problem generally with sexisim irespective of political persuasion, but the architects of this expose ? How likely is it for someone within the tory party as opposed to the party of dirty tricks ?

Looks like the conservatie party are unhappy at May decision to appoint Williamson as Defence Sec. She has lost control.
 
I suspect, John, that any intention to go for a GE would/must allow those concerned sufficient time to register after the GE date is announced.
But first the Tories would have to lose a vote of no confidence, then Corbyn tries to form a minority government, then that minority government, or in the case of no-one being able to form a government, would a GE be called.
 
unless May, or whoever is temporarily PM, calls a GE and the other parties consent.

IMO people need to be reminded to get registered, and not "leave it till later"
