Is that all he gets? I f he was still playing he'd be on three times that amount at least.
Besides it pales into insignificance compared to the money top bankers and industrialists get. Not to mention the money MPs get for sitting on the boards of various companies, doing nothing at all except protecting those companies interests in parliament.
Perhaps this tory MP who brought the subject up and who's party's philosophy is largely responsible for the present situatuation should talk about that.
 
But he's not a player now. Why not put the jobs out to tender and see what price similar ex players are willing to work for.
 
Well there's enough east european ex players knocking around to offer to do his job for less than half his wage.
Then again, the footballers from those countries seem to want parity to british players wages when they play over here.
Unlike the workers who the rest of us have to try and compete with.
 
It's the same with foreign doctors too.

Because not many ex players have the footballing knowledge that Hansen has, he is paid for that reason, and there is not much he doesnt know about the game. Look at the pundits Sky sports use, they have nothing on Hansen and it wouldnt surprise me if they got paid a lot more than he does.

Wether you like him or not as a pundit which I do....no matter what team you support this player was class and was part of that Liverpool team that was unstoppable at the time.
 
He's not worth 40k for a 5 minute slot.

If you knew anything about Hansen you'd know what Jemson did to him.
 
But he still made a mockery of Hansen - he announced his retirement after the game.
