Are the knives out for Cameron?

If Cameron only increased his voting percentage by 3% - that's a disaster. Ashcrofts money and all the Tory press and the hugely unpopular Brown - he should have done what New Lab did in 97 and romp home. He's a failure - ask the Tory Party.

records got stuck joe, give it a bang

Well apparently in the parallel universe joe lives in , Cameron lost the election and labour won.

No - Cameron didn't WIN - and he should have done. He'll never get another crack at it - that's why he's desperate for a coalition (if Clegg will let him).

Having got the Tories closer to an outright win than any of his 4 predecessors, and upped the vote by 2 million, the Tories are not about to ditch him, the most successful Tory leader in 14 years.

Jeez, you really do live in a fantasy world, kid...........

He didn't even up the vote by 3%. Three voters out of every hundred. That is failure in any universe.

Your numbers are utterly fictitious and meaningless. He upped the vote for the Tories from 8 million to 10 million. And he increased the number of seats by 97, and hes about to form a new government, thats a stunning success by any measure.

He's a pawn in Cleggs game. The king is dead - long live the king (maker).

I think its a case of there using each other. You thin C legg is calling the shots? Any coalition will have to be approved by the 1922 committee, if cameron hasnt negotiated a good deal they will sink it.

Your ignorance of the reality of the situation is truly appalling...........

Cameron should be arranging his furniture in number 10 - but he's not. What a failure.

Well joe, when they get a deal sorted next week, and he does move in to no 10, which is inevitable, because the lib dems will not support a queens speech by brown, then we will have tremendous pleasure in coming back to this thread and pointing out how utterly wrong you are.

(You DO realise that by voting down the Queens Speech it forces Brown to resign, even if he doesnt want to, as it counts as losing a vote of confidence)

sunday night, joes bored, time to go a trolling

Yes, the stuff he posts is so detached whats happening in this universe you wonder if he's making it up, or hes a visitor from a parallel universe, or he trolling.

John Major had a majority of 21 - David Cameron couldn't even win those seats back despite being up against the hapless Brown in a recession. He failed big time.

again, what universe do you live in? do you ever read history books? Or as we suspect , do you just make history up to suit yourself?

In the last six months of his rule, John Major didnt have a majority, he was a minority government.
