I'm tiling a bathroom and now got to make the bath panel to be tiled?

I was thinking to to make a structure panel in stud work and plywood 12mm, then tiling on it straight away.

Would this work? is the plywood good enough for wet area?

I did that with mine. I think I used 9mm ply. Don’t push too hard on it until the tile cement has gone off. Don’t ask me how I know!

I took a chance with mine and made it permanent. Lasted until I fitted another bath.

B&Q do a height adjustable q-board bath panel for £23.
