It happened to my grandad's sister.
She woke up after 36 hours of being dead and lived another 5 years.

It was quite common in the more elaborate headstones in Victorian graveyards to include a bell connected to a chord in the coffin. I wonder how often they got used?.

Reminds me of an article I read some years ago, (in part) busting the acceptance of Japan having one of the highest life expectancy rates.

According to the article, the cost of living is so high, and demand for housing so great, that failing to report familial deaths was not an infrequent occurrence (to maintain social security payments, etc).
The result of which - like a "not out" batter having a high average - being Japan having an exaggeratedly-high life expectancy.
