Thanks to all those who took the time to respond, especially those who were correct!

Car is sitting in the garage at the moment looking a bit sorry for itself, but providing I can get the bent wheel straightened then I'll be taking it for an MOT again sometime in the future, but this time with more respect for the quirks of RWD cars.
