I generally refrain from name calling, but it's funny you constantly resort to name calling in pretty much any GD thread I post in, must be because you are a thick as sh1t **** brain and can't come up with any decent arguments.
But then I wasn't the A*r*S*e who started their post with..."People never try to integrate, never never never never never neveeeerrrrrrrrrrrr".
And yet you can't actually refute my argument can you (my whole argument, not just the line you quoted above).
You come up with "a street" (yea, that's mass immigration isn't it, a whole street), of "mixed" immigrants (so not of 1 nationality).
People don't try to integrate unless they have to, they don't learn a foreign language if they don't need to, they don't change their social and family values if they don't need to, and the evidence of this is all around you in any country with mass immigration, you can find "enclaves" of non natives pretty much anywhere, where the immigrants have formed their own communities.
But no, you keep giving me examples of small numbers of immigrants (who would have to integrate) to try to disprove me, try harder you ****.

None of the 'immigrants' I referred to 'had to integrate'...they CHOSE to live here!
And those who 'live in enclaves' probably do so because if they wanted to live where you do they would be vilified by you for no reason!

Why "no reason" if they integrate I have no problem with them, if they choose to set up "little india/china/africa" with their own shops and their own customs, then they can **** off, oh I see "no reason" probably means "racism".
Sorry, but the person I know of that I consider the most "english", as in attitude and mannerisms is Indian/Asian in genetic appearance.

Nothing is completely black and white, and I can see both sides of the argument here although, generally, I agree with Chapeau here.
We lived in Saudi Arabia some years ago. Recalling my earlier criteria:
- we didn't go there to sponge off the state;
- we made an effort to integrate, although this wasn't encouraged by the Saudis, and learnt some useful Arabic phrases;
- we certainly made no effort to change things to suit our preferences - churches were illegal, for example, and a large number of people were repatriated when they were caught drinking alcohol at a party (we had just left!).
I held no resentment against the Saudis for any of this; it is their country after all.
It's just a shame that the same attitude isn't reciprocated in this country!
