Now in tier 4, which is lockdown basically.
2 week fire break, as schools closed. But they're not calling it that, as that was labour's suggestion ...

Luckily we did our Christmas booze shop today.

They forced schools to stay open when many Councils said it may be wiser to goto online teaching for the last week. Now they dumped testing onto the schools and asked them to stagger the return and use online learning.

Teachers were proven right once again.

It's a shambles. U-turn on top of U-turn.

Just seen the news and essex was not on the list.

Boris is playing a game of Chess. He's damned and he's damned. We are mixing with no one but can understand why he's thinking of the lonely and those with mental health.

Companies are being contacted in order to organise the building of a wall around London.
Umbrellas will be painted on it.

This was the BBC evening news

“It would be frankly inhumane to cancel Xmas”
@BorisJohnson
15th Dec 2020

4 days later lets cancel christmas.

Why does he make these sweeping statements only to backtrack.

Do you know if Tier 4 stops you doing building work or not and will builders merchants be closed like in the previous March lockdowns?

What is he meant to do......... Im happy at home with my girls... no one else. Some like my nieces its important that their mum is with someone and not on her own. We as responsible people need to do the right thing. Boris is trying but the goals posts keep moving.

Give him a break

When you are unsure about things why make bold statements? How does that make you look. How does that build confidence and trust.

I wonder if you would be as forgiving if it was your oncologist.

Corrected for you...

Boris is indeed playing a game of Chess. However he's damned as well he should be. He's not mixing with anyone outside his political 'bubble', but he still can't understand why he's not thinking of the lonely and those with mental health issues.

Sad to hear. Did you have something planned with your family?
Thanks. Daughter and her boyfriend been working from home since March, we were going to spend Xmas Eve/Xmas day at sons to see grandson open presents and Boxing Day at daughters. Mrs Mottie finished work early to get 10 clear days in before visiting them. All ****ed up now. I don’t blame the Government - they can only react to the situation as it changes. They'd have been in worse trouble if they hadn’t changed things. I blame those people who think the rules don’t apply to them. You have to practice some safe procedures, nobody's perfect but we have friends in three camps - one lot absolutely paranoid, one lot being sensible and others not taking a blind bit of notice. Trouble is, there’s bloody millions of others just like those.
