Climate Change

Nope the earth has done it before

The problem with climate doomers is that they like to pick and choose when they call it weather and when they call it climate.
When ?

I''m not saying Floris is "Climate Change" I'm sure there will have been bigger storms on warmer days - but the fact that these more remarkable weather events happen quite regularly do fit in with climate warming

Nope the earth has done it before
And how did it work out for the life on the planet at the time?

climate doomers is that they like to pick and choose when they call it weather and when they call it climate
No, the difference is clear and easy to understand. Deniers just keep spouting the same nonsense in an attempt to discredit the science that they don't understand.

I've never left the forum.

There isn't any credible evidence to back up your wild claims, if there was it would be easily found. And I have looked for it.

Try using answers rather than insults, for a change.
The phrase spitting your dummy out is not an insult its a description of what happened. As for the other stuff you need to look harder try "Ice Cores"

Lots of posters go through periods when they post a bit less. Haven't you ever done that. I don't see how that is spitting a dummy.

Nothing there to prove what you are claiming

Why not just post a factual link
A reminder of this conversation and what the two of us are discussing - I am saying that the current earths temperature rise and its alleged speed are not unprecedented in earths history ---- and the ice cores show that.
Densos hundreds of thousands of climate scientist do not want to discuss that because it does not fit in with the current narrative

So what. It doesn't matter if there were mush faster rises before, which there weren't. It matters now because we are causing it.

Probably when most life on earth was wiped out.
all previous mass extinctions have been linked to rapid cooling - asteroid strike, dust blocked out sun - overactive volcanoes pumping too much ash out, blocking the sun - and an interesting one, 'the late devonshire (sic)" apparently too many plants sucked too much carbon out of the atmosphere which led to a massive ice age - virtually everything died

So too much CO2 leading to rapid warming and a mass extinction will be a new one - although I think us very clever humans enhanced by Ai will probably find another way to wipe us all out long before the heat of climate change does

All long after we have gone thankfully - and I don't think our kids (collectively speaking) care too much either so why should we care

I think it’s the other way round, the younger generation care ( and understand) far more about climate change than the older generation
