I'm no longer looking at Intergas. But when I was, I wanted to know how to do PDHW with two CH zones with weather compensation but not OT on an open vent boiler. We've now decided to go with Alpha using a local expert. This year really is the year!

There are very open vents which do everything we want natively where you can also use third party controls whilst having enough options to play with for good configuration. It was really between this and Intergas and this has better local installers.

Understood. I’d still have gone for intergas. I could have found you an installer locally.

I love mine; it’s range rated, on open therm. I should really zone it as we have 4 floors, but it’s economical enough, so I’ll probably never get round to it.

Incidentally, Intergas appear to be selling to Ideal shortly.

We were thinking of Intergas for a long time. So might switch back. It's definitely between them and Alpha

Alpha seem to have a bigger presence locally because it seems thousands are fitted into rentals.

But interesting to hear about the Ideal merger.

I do use EPH. The new zone packs are very good, the app especially.

I use evohome with mine though.

That's where I get confused. I thought you had to go all EvoHome or all EPH. Didn't realise you could mix and match. But maybe I am thinking of doing it with multiple zones.

Sorry I didn’t explain properly. I use EPH on my installs.

At home I use Evohome.

You might be over thinking it all. But I’d maybe weigh up IG v Alpha again.
