"Confidence in vaccines has declined "significantly" since the start of the COVID pandemic, according to a new study.

Researchers from the University of Portsmouth carried out two anonymous surveys in the winters of 2019 and 2022 to gauge people's attitudes to vaccinations and to look at what factors cause hesitancy and refusal.

After questioning more than 1,000 adults, they found that the post-pandemic group was considerably less confident in vaccines than the pre-pandemic group.

The paper, published in the medical journal Vaccine, showed a fall in confidence in nearly one in four participants since 2020, regardless of their age, gender, religious belief, education or ethnicity."

Will the jab junkies soon be in the minority?

And will the science of the 'virus' turn out to be less than 'truthful' as it was originally told?
Vaccines ended the pandemic.

if we had followed anti jabber idiots this country would still be in lockdown.

Great stuff, much, much better than the flu jab.

It Is...

"Dr Alessandro Siani, associate head of the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Portsmouth, said: "While vaccine hesitancy is not a new phenomenon, COVID-19 vaccines have been met with particular hostility despite the overwhelming scientific evidence of their safety and effectiveness."

It's terrible to see the damage the stupid antivaxxers like "ellal" have done by spreading their false propaganda.

"While vaccine hesitancy is not a new phenomenon, COVID-19 vaccines have been met with particular hostility despite the overwhelming scientific evidence of their safety and effectiveness."

The dominoes have started to fall. Recently we saw two big names declare they had doubts about covid (but didn't say so at the time) and now one Emily Oster, a former lockdown / mask / vaccine zealot has admitted that, in hindsight she was wrong (but didn't know it at the time). Now she is calling for an amnesty. Not compensation for everyone who has lost money, but an amnesty. She's sorry, move on, no harm done.

The NHS has carried out 13m autumn booster jabs this year, compared to nearly 8m at the same time in 2021, and Coronavirus infections have fallen for the first time since mid-September, according to the ONS weekly survey (Oct 21st); it estimated 1.6m people would've tested positive - across the UK infections fell from 2.5m to 1.8m. The number of Covid-19 positive in-patients has fallen by around 2,000 a week with 7,296 people in hospital testing positive.*
So if more people get a booster jab the chances are more likely that fewer cases will be found this winter and more beds will be available, so good news, eh? (y)

That article doesn't in any way say what Andy11 says it does. No falling, anywhere. He's lying, as usual. It's what he does.
The article is one blogger's view, which nonetheless puts him and his ilk in the category of "Actual purveyors of misinformation".
Those beyond reason and not worthy of anything.
