Why do you find that strange? She says quite clearly here that she puts her son above her 'reputation' as a politician. She's obviously pulled some strings to keep it quiet and she won’t be bothered one jot when she’s caught out.

Well she has failed miserably then, or maybe its a non story and not worth wasting ink on

Corbyn is one man, maybe give the party a chance?
Without going over the old ground on the economics, i didn't agree with Blair and Brown's economics or centrist policies. But they were at least rational in what they tried to do.

Corbyn is the figurehead, but he is propped up by like minded extremists. The parlimentary party tried to get rid of him once before, and he ignored the vote of no confidence. The labour MP's that tried to get rid of him once appear to have given up. In this election, Corbyn's true principles have come more to the fore and the labour party policies have gone much further to the left.

If Corbyn was to get to power, the party won't pull back from the extreme left principles. Giving the party a chance means giving power to Corbyn which is something that i believe should be avoided at all costs.

I think you overestimate Corbyn and this terrible fear of a Marxist government is irrational. Many of his policies are good.

The reality with Corbyn government is that they wouldnt get much done. Corbyn is a life long political activist, he campaigns against injustice......but if he got in power, he wouldnt know what to do.

My fear isn't just of Corbyn, he's the figurehead. Its the people behind the scenes like John Macdonald that i'm probably more scared of getting into a position of power.

However, you make a good point about them not doing very much.

Fear of people behind the scenes? You mean despicable self serving hand grenades like Dominic Cummings.

I have never been too precious about the Tories being in power even though I'm centre-left. But a tory government led by a pathological liar and manipulated by a career megalomaniac, is not something I look forward to.

"What is the alternative" I hear you cry. Dunno personally. For someone who is comfortable, who doesn't mind paying his fair share in taxes and who thinks of politicians as a couple of rungs lower than estate agents and traffic wardens - you tell me.

cummings is what you get when a self serving bunch of remoaners try to stop brexit.
Desperate times require desperate measures.
