Bah,
Coming home from a family break and the **** S pull me,
Thing is i was driving north and they were driving south but still managed to point a hand held at me over a dual carriageway ?
So with 23 years of no experience in the matter.

Can a ticket be issued when a car travelling ,say, northbound on a dual carriageway is picked up by a hand held device inside a police vehicle which is travelling southbound. My thoughts are that as the police vehicle is in motion then true recording would be difficult to record as both vehicles are in motion ?
I say this because i do admit to going around 83mph yet they said it was 91+mph

2 cars travelling towards each other - if the speed of one is constant and known, by measuring distances, you can work out the speed of the other car. However, if they are on different lines of motion, as they get closer, the gun becomes less accurate as you are travelling slower towards the gun.

Trouble is, to fight it you would need to make a court appearance.

What you gonna say? Er,

"I was not travelling at 91+ mph your honour."

"What speed were you travelling at?"

"83?"

"You're nicked"

10% + 2mph is the norm.

That gives you 79mph.

They must have been going some themselves to turn around and catch up with you if you were doing 80+mph

You mean to say you've never broken the speed limit in 23 yrs? You must owe 'em one ;) .
