Let me preface this by stating that don't believe China did what your question implies.

The economies will not be "destroyed", just lessened .
Plus, when times are tight, people buy less, and buy cheaper.
China has made its growth from cheaper.

Or their own economy for that matter. A nation built on export suddenly cannot do that. So many companies in the UK are struggling not because of a lack of customers, but a lack of manufacturing in China and slower import times. Their economy will suffer. Def. not their fault or deliberate.

If that is the case then we need to stop expanding human population everywhere - most of these new viruses are a result of people stepping into environments where people have not been before, usually loggers. But that is not going to happen.

Anyway, knowing that covid 19 came from China won't stop Covid 20 coming from France or Covid 21 coming from Staffordshire. Both are possible.

Hard to believe that we have any 'rona around here, yet staffs is in tier 3.

Speaking to one of the staff in the bike place at the Chase visitor centre, they reckon it could have been part - due to the scouse hoards who descended on the trails, when their area was riddled with the lurgy.
