I don’t think they’d call it butter if it wasn’t real butter. Only been £1.75 for about three weeks. Before that it had been £1.48 for months. Funny thing though, for the first week it was priced at £1.75, it was charged out at £1.40 for those that did a smart shop. I know that because I started doing the weekly shop when covid started and I seem to have inherited the job since! I know the price of most things that we buy regularly.Can't see you getting real butter at Sainsburys for £1.75, probably vegetable spread or something.
You'd probably get one of those little packs you get with your hotel breakfast for that price if it was real butter.
