Heres my attempt :D

Lookit you and your fancy boots.

I'd post up mine but it's an appalling mess waiting on replacement hardware, and you'd all laugh at my universal power supply.

I found a vendor on ebay that was selling cabinets fairly cheap. It's now sitting out the way and keeps my equipment together: View media item 31023
I'd have been stuffed fixing everything in place with the amount of times I've switched parts round.

Whats that device at the bottom? Some kind of server or NAS?

It's my gateway and server built using an empty 2U rack case from Maplin. The motherboard doesn't sit near the front panel, hence the custom ethernet ports and lack of any other ports accessible from the front. There's two Neutrik USB connectors on the side though and a port for the UPS.

Neat, how much did the case cost?

Maplin Code: N35AN £42.99

I bought the case a few years ago for £29 as a B-grade item, but even at £42.99 it's good value as it's very well made and has a 3 or 4mm solid front panel.

Nice. I'll have to bookmark that for future butchering of my embedded kit. :)
