I believe that when someone is deported from France it happens immediately. They can appeal but only from a foreign country. And apparently no one has ever successfully appealed.

I don't like those "home grown" words. They are "home taught" by other jihadis eg hook hand, abuquattada and their believers. They are also selected because they have low self esteem, are gullible, are easily brain washed. And most importantly they don't want devout moslems because that would refect badly on the religion.
