ULEZ would have happened with or without Khan.

But a new, independent study published by Queen Mary University of London today goes further still, showing how – by helping to clean up the capital’s air – the Ulez is improving the lungs and lives of London’s children.
Why would the good folk of London town not wish to improve the lives of their own children?

The lefties are off (again) on an imaginary conversation that no one has had -- NO ONE is saying fumes are harmful. The point being made is yes they are harmful but how does paying £12.50 a stop them being harmful.
They spend it on capturing it and then pumping it out behind jets at 33,000 feet.
No one is saying that paying the ULEZ fee stops it being harmful. Its the same strawmsn you're whining about.
It has had the effect of reducing harmful emissions.
That was the point.
It has worked.
