London Attack

Don't be too judgmental about the people standing around - shock is a funny thing. I've been first on scene at one or two fatals back in the days when I was teaching plod advanced riding.. The brain gets pumped full of all sorts of chemicals. Well done to those who offered first aid, its not pleasant doing first aid on someone seriously messed up physically.

I guess you must have done some extensive studies of security services and their methods worldwide, it will be interesting to see your findings

At the moment, I can't release them for security reasons. But wait for my autobiogaphy - tentatively titled "My Life Replying to T'wats", and there may be some snippets for you.

"My Life in fantasy land" would be more apt

Frightening. How can security services or those whose jobs it is to protect the public, legislate for such psychopathic behavior? One car just looks like another. Hats off to the Tory MP who went to help the poor injured and dying rozzer whilst all the others fled.

At least Ole Bad Hair will be able to attribute some truth into his spurious claims now.
I would imagine the last thing the police in the thick of it would want is hundreds of Joe public offering to help, leave it to the pros and get out of the way

Would you say a former British soldier is under-qualified? If I or any of my family were in a situation like that I wouldn't mind an ex soldier helping.

It's an interesting coincidence that Martin McGuiness had a hero's funeral today.

That would be quite the tome that book..

Actually, I think I would like anyone helping if I was in a situation like that. Even just not being alone is probably really helpful if I was lying there injured and scared.

I never said he was under-qualified I was referring to your disparaging comment about people fleeing, as if they should hang around offering help, the stabbed PC was with colleagues who I would imagine have a high level of training

Gotcha.

And mine was a dig at other politicians and not the general public.(y)
So do you think all the other politicians should have hung around and hampered operations, they are still members of the public, and would and would have acted the same
