Makerfield

possibly the most tactically voted for ever?

I find it fascinating how politics is so 50/50, so balanced between left and right, neither group are particularity more bright or more stupid than the other group, but we are always split so close to that middle line. Scot indy ref, brexit, US elections, most elections anywhere in the free world

what is the underlying factor to this division ?

Perspective.

Both sides of the political divide offer their own solutions, each one claiming to be innovative or radical. Only one, i think, can make that claim with any conviction since the right/far right are falling back upon the old Free Market model of unregulated markets charging what they like - taking what they want and giving nothing back.

The other side of that argument is proposing a genuine change to current problems with a range of solutions designed to tackle the causes and not just the effects of the challenges facing globalised economies and lesser developed nations in the 21st century.

This is shaping up into the most important by-election for many years and could redirect the fortunes of both the Labour Party and 'reform' - based on polling if Burnham wins the seat it'll have dramatic consequences for a future GE:

Deltapoll

  • Labour 20%, rising to 28% with Burnham
  • Reform 28%, falling to 27%
  • Conservative 17%, falling to 15%
  • Green 13%, falling to 10%
  • Lib Dem 11%, falling to 8%

More in Common

  • Labour 22%, rising to 30% with Burnham
  • Reform 29%, falling to 27%
  • Conservative 19%, rising to 20%
  • Lib Dem 13%, falling to 11%
  • Green 11%, falling to 7%
Those figures are for the fantasy Burnham, who's claiming he can make the UK into some sort of heaven.

People won't be anything like as enthusiastic once he's had a go as PM and wrecked the country.

He'll make the remaining labour supporters long for the good old days of Starmer.

sadly I think labour have it - bookies are never far off the mark

main stream medi seem to be unjustly attacking Farage at the moment, twisting his warnings of 'unrest' if our police continue being so racist to him encouraging violence ! BBC are an utter disgrace

BBC as usual are promoting Labour, who have caused all this race strife, and making out that it is all Farage's fault..The BBC also will not promote Rupert Lowe, because Rupert Lowe wants to defund the BBC. It is the same situation as in America.. Trump wants to end the MSM's evil influence, therefore the MSM lie about Trump.
