Milk today, but what about tomorrow?

Maybe there will be a few more people who ask themselves "shall I buy another Hummer today or keep the Prius?"

Cheap energy policy encourages wasteful use.

If bio-fuels become mainstream the decision may be ... To eat or to drive

No problem, even to provide the required 10% mix of bio-fuel in standard fuels for the uk will take more land than is currently used for agricultural production. The ratio of energy out to energy in for ethanol from grain is very low at about 1.6:1.

When all the Chinese/Indians get enough cash to buy their "Big Willy Cars " the demand for mineral oil will increase greatly. Bio-fuels are not the answer, using your motor less is the only answer. But most people define themselves through their vehicles, as if they have no personality to put forward? Less use of everything is the only answer, but everyone is too greedy and selfish for that to happen! :(

NB. "Big Willy Cars" are cars that are excessive in their design and utilisation (huge 4WD for buying shopping).

Hurrah I've got a big willy!

Well for the sake of the environment lets hope you use it for it's proper purpose, and not just picking up the kids.

Never mind, there either won't be any shopping to get, or people will have to decide whether the money goes on the car or the food.

A HUGE car will be useful in the future as it will be more room to grow tomatoes in it, as we will all be walking around :D As for mineral oil, we will never surely run out it in our lifetime but the cost of the stuff will make it much more valuble.
