Yes, I heard this, but couldn't find fitting proverbs to do it justice

Nope, nothing as devious - it is just my name and initial of second name I did used to teach guitar though. Also played in quite a few bands, but I got fed up with that. Most of them were cover bands - and it was so boring churning out the same old songs over and over. Now I just write and record for myself One of the bands was potentially ok - a sort of Folk/Rock, but the singer was obsessed with stardom, so we'd turn up at gigs and she would say' "Oh, I forgot to mention that we won't be getting paid for this one as there are some important people here, so it will be good for publicity" I soon got fed up of this, as I wasn't the slightest bit interested in going down the road of stardom - I play music because it is fun and more importantly - meaningful
